All such services will be advertised in the Parish Diary. Come and join us!
Holy week is the most important part of the church's year, as we follow Jesus and his disciples in the days before his crucifixion and the celebration of the resurrection.
Following our Palm Sunday services, we hold a daily Eucharist from Monday through to Thursday, after which the altars are stripped. On the Friday, we provide two opportunities for people to participate in the 'Good Friday Liturgy'. On Saturday evening, we undertake the Easter Vigil and Eucharist to celebrate the Lord's resurrection before joining together as normal on Easter Day for our sunday services.
It is our custom to invite a visiting preacher to lead us through the week...
Throughout Advent, we worship together at our regular services as we await the coming of the Lord. In the week before Christmas, we hold special Carol services and a Crib service, where people are invited to come dressed as your favourite nativity character!
Midnight Mass is held late on Christmas Eve and is always well attended. We then hold morning services on Christmas Day, where children are invited to bring along their Christmas presents and share their excitement with us all.
